I have been taking photos since I was ten.  I started in 4-H and my first 4-H fair was in Rush County.  I learned at a young age that Photography was a very difficult project.  All views are different and one judge likes your work and one judge doesn't.  So, I try to remember that while doing my own Photography.  While I see something, someone else might not.  I try to ask their opinions of what they would like to see and also try and ask the Seniors to help.  They always have a different way of looking at things.  I try to incorporate some of that in their session.

I have entered several different contests over the years.  I usually enter the Indiana State Fair and have won several ribbons.  I also have entered Riley Days.  Just recently this past year I won the color adult best of show.  I was so very honored. However, it took me twenty years.  Once again you just never know how that judge is going to judge your photo on that day.

I am married and the mother of two boys.  They are 11 and 13.  They keep me very busy as they are in sports,4-H and other events that keep us all busy. I also have three stepdaughters and six grandchildren.
We also farm and I grew up on a farm. My husband and I have been married for 14 years.  I am the Safety Coordinator for the Hancock County Farm Bureau and on the County Relay for Life Committee and am a proud member of Cory's Crew.
